The Global Journal of Dental Specialty (GJDS) encourages authors to share the research data, materials, and supporting information underlying their published work to promote transparency, reproducibility, and scientific collaboration. The journal supports the data sharing recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Authors are encouraged to:
Share research data supporting published findings.
Deposit datasets in recognized public or institutional repositories.
Include a Data Availability Statement in the manuscript.
Cite datasets using accepted data citation standards.
Explain any restrictions on data availability where applicable.
Where research data cannot be made publicly available due to ethical, legal, privacy, or confidentiality requirements, authors should clearly state the reason within the manuscript. The Editorial Office may request access to supporting data during the editorial or peer-review process to verify the validity of the reported findings.
The journal encourages responsible data sharing to enhance the transparency, reproducibility, and long-term value of published research. Authors are expected to comply with the journal's data sharing requirements and applicable ethical guidelines while protecting participant privacy and confidential information.
