The Global Journal of Dental Specialty (GJDS) supports transparency and reproducibility in scientific research. The journal encourages authors to share the research data, materials, methods, and supporting information underlying their published work whenever possible. We believe that research data citation through standard reference lists provides an effective way to support reproducible research and enhance the reliability of published findings.
Authors are encouraged to:
Share research data supporting published findings.
Include a Data Availability Statement in the manuscript.
Deposit datasets in recognized public or institutional repositories.
Cite research datasets in the reference list using accepted standards.
Provide sufficient methodological details to enable reproducibility.
Where research data cannot be made publicly available due to ethical, legal, privacy, or confidentiality restrictions, authors should clearly explain the reason within the manuscript. The Editorial Office may request access to supporting data during the editorial or peer-review process when necessary.
The journal promotes responsible data sharing and proper data citation to strengthen research transparency, reproducibility, and scientific integrity. Authors are expected to comply with the journal's data sharing requirements while protecting participant privacy and confidential information in accordance with COPE and ICMJE recommendations.
