Academic resilience refers to students' ability to effectively overcome academic challenges, adversity, stress, and setbacks while maintaining satisfactory educational performance and psychological well-being. In contemporary higher education, students encounter numerous challenges, including academic pressure, financial difficulties, mental health concerns, technological disruptions, and social adjustment issues. Understanding the factors that contribute to academic resilience is essential for promoting student success, retention, and overall well-being. This study investigates the determinants, outcomes, and enhancement strategies related to academic resilience among university students. A mixed-method research design involving 800 undergraduate and postgraduate students from multiple universities was employed. Quantitative survey data and qualitative interviews were analyzed using descriptive statistics, regression analysis, and thematic coding. Findings indicate that self-efficacy, social support, emotional intelligence, adaptive coping strategies, and institutional support significantly contribute to academic resilience. Furthermore, resilient students demonstrate higher academic achievement, better mental health outcomes, and greater persistence toward educational goals. The study proposes a multidimensional resilience framework and offers practical recommendations for educational institutions to strengthen resilience among students.
